Hope, Humor, and the Supernatural
Can a man find love in a haunted house?
Stay at home dad, Garth Andrews, answers the door, states his name, and signs away life as he knows it. Stuck on the word divorce, the effect of a shot of Novocain numbs his body and mind. The successful realtor, Joanna, orders him out of the house immediately. She'll have no scene in front of the children, thirteen-year-old Allison (going on twenty) and autistic four-year-old Mikey.
He retrieves the envelope Joanna left for him in her office. An open file on the desk cries out to him. He takes the key and Polaroid picture from the file. Minutes later, he comes to a jerky stop in an overgrown back garden and sits in the still quiet, finding comfort in the sinister look of the Victorian that towers before him.
The strange comfort the eerie house gives pulls him one way and the constant fear it holds pulls him the other. Then there's that lady in blue that visits him at night...
He is in a state of awkward confusion when Joanna goes to Paris, the children move in, and the house is invaded by ghosts during Allison's Halloween party.
Will Garth come back to his senses in time to protect the children and those he loves? Or, will lust overpower?
