About C. K.
For those of you that love my books or other random writings here's a few tidbits about me.

I'm a US Navy veteran, CTI3. In addition to my writing, which I love, I did work as a Veterans Service Officer to help veterans in need. I love what I do both in my writing and in helping veterans.

My husband, Tim, and I have two wonderful children, Dakota, our son, and Skylar, our daughter, both of whom we adore. At least until my son steals my notes and writings to read them off in some obscure corner of our apartment complex, then as I'm chasing him down I ponder the depths of motherly love. I'm constantly prying my manuscripts from his little vise-grip fingers. Dakota's an avid reader much like myself (he snagged my copy of Twilight and held it hostage for over 2 years!). Our daughter, being so tiny, only keeps us up all hours of the night but brings smiles to our faces as she does it.

I live in the Cincinnati area and absolutely love it! Having lived in Texas for most of my childhood, the refreshing rains and cooler temperatures are perfect for me. I absolutely love the cold. That is probably one of the main reasons I center my stories in a locale like Alaska in Shifting Sky.

Tim works for Amazon! I mean, really? Need I say more? He loves it, of course. Although, my book buying at said company, he doesn't particularly care for. I can understand somewhat since my Kindle library includes over 4,000 titles, but I'll never tell him! And it goes without saying that you shouldn't either.
