With help from a desk clerk and his co-worker, the newcomer easily finds living accommodations in a loft above the livery stable, which he shares with a rodeo cowboy named Xavier. A part time job and enrollment in the university are as easily arranged, so Clint is prepared for his new life in the partially tamed Wild West.
Steamy hot sex with a string of casual partners leaves Clint physically satisfied but emotionally unfulfilled, leading him to vow waiting for the possibility of a meaningful relationship. Opportunity arrives in the form of accidental injury to Xavier, who Clint assumes is straight.
