Book 4, Not Even Close
Confessions of a Writer tells my journey in becoming a self-published author. This will be presented by relating my stories from the current time, going backwards deeper into the past. To me, the current time is the most important moment of all. And because of that, I’d like to start with it. The backstory is important but not as significant as the current situation and my current experiences and learning. They contributed to it, yes, so it’s still imperative to include them in this confession.
Not Even Close is the title of the memoir series. In the course of my life, I’ve had experiences where I realize and say to myself “Not even close.”
My expectations are not even close to the reality of things. Other people’s expectations of me are not even close to what I do with my life. Other people’s opinions about my poor self are not even close to the truth. There will always be that gap that differentiate expectations and reality in my life.
