Seventy years ago the Death Cult and the Church had a holy war that caused the genocide of an entire planet, virtually wiping out the Death Cult and leaving billions shocked. Those of the Death Cult that survived went underground and seemed to disappear and the Church went on to help thousands of other planets join the Federation. However the Death Cult was not dead and they planned their resurgence very carefully. They picked a planet to test their plans but they hadn't planned on another resurgent. Someone who knew their methods and would take up the fight against them, single-handedly if necessary. There would not be another holy war that pitted brother against brother or sister against sister and would end in genocide of a whole universe this time. Not if Sara had anything to say about it.
