Philip had always known that there was something a bit different about his little sister, Kathryn. He, along with the rest of his family, had spent most of his childhood trying to repress his concern, his fear, over her frequent episodes. The Hesketh family had been wealthy and influential for over a hundred years but Pip and Kitty were born in the 1950’s at the tail end of the family’s fortunes. Some members of the family found these times harder to deal with than others and, for a long time, resentment festered with no one being aware of the malevolent madness that was destroying them all.
