Loch Ness. Home to myth and legend. When four University students take time out to go backpacking on the shores of the loch, nothing prepares them for the storm that is coming. With the weather closing in and night falling, they have no option but to sit it out, they make camp near the shore. An unexpected encounter with... a sick old man leads to tales of the loch. As the drink flows, tensions rise. Tempers fray as the need to seek medical assistance becomes clear. And in the still waters of the loch, something ancient and malevolent is stirring. For the four students, things are about to take a very dark turn. They are about to discover that not all legends are myths, and that sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction. It is rising. And it is hungry. The Loch is a breath-taking ride through the darker side of Celtic mythology and explores what happens when the boundary line between fact and fiction blurs. read more
