Revised edition, July 2015. Two years ago the moon was struck by a large meteor. The impact broke the moon apart, thousands of rocks were grabbed by Earth's gravity, pulling them to strike the planet. The moon rocks devastated the planet. Two miles high tidal waves circled the planet, cites were flattened by the rocks. Earth's orbit was sifted, combined with the debris tossed into the atmosphere caused a new ice age. Most of the Northern Hemisphere is made unlivable as the ice/snow/glaciers move south. The Russian Federation conquered Australia and New Zealand, which they moved most of their surviving population to. A group in Virginia called themselves New Sparta, a new country based on the old Roman Empire. Their leader, called the Dux moved south, taking over four of the southern American states and Cuba. The American President decided to transplant America to Central Africa.The destruction of most of the planet led to different religions to form, one led by the "Elder" worshiped Satan. The Elder thought of himself as Satan's emissary on Earth, killing and sending souls to hell.
In the third volume of the story, American President Wayne, the Spartan leader Dux and the Russian Federation Premier Sergei Leninvich are fighting over the world's limited resources. Alliances are made and broken. Double Cross follows the main characters openly and clandestinely fighting each other for control of the world.
