Jessaca--with an "a" instead of an "i"--is a fantasy author who loves writing darker, dystopian, and paranormal/supernatural stories. Her debut series, The Awakened, falls more securely into the science fiction/apocalyptic genres, but rest assured it is plenty dark, and still has an abundance of magical quality.

Before writing, Jessaca worked in the juvenile justice system as a case manager and then at a high school coordinating a program to restructure the educational system. She is a mom and a self-proclaimed nerd who loves cosplay, video games, and comics.
