(UPDATED-spelling and edits August 2015) A novel taken from today's headlines. Iran drafts a ten year plan to destroy the 'Great and Little Satan.' Iran spreads money to sway the US press and political system to move the country to the left. Once a far left wing president is elected, Iran offers to negotiate a nuclear treaty while quietly developing their war plan to attack America. Iran helps distract America by destabilizing the Middle East. They help establish ISIS which they arm and instruct ISIS's leader how to both be a military leader and look the best on international television. Iran's war plan is based on a report the US DHS wrote saying 280 million US citizens would die from an EMP attack. Iran launches an attack against America with EMP missiles, followed up by a select nuclear strike. The third stage of their plan is the first invasion of America in 200 years. Hundreds of thousands of 'Holy Warriors' flood across America's open southern border. The invaders spread a new strain of Ebola ahead of them killing millions while forcing the American defenders to keep their distance from their own neighbors.
The story focuses on a small community 45 miles to the west of Washington DC which has to rebuild their lives while fighting off the invaders. You'll wonder if this is a work of fiction or a possible dark future. Everything explained in the story is possible with today's technology. The story is told through different dates and locations. The story jumps back and forth between the present, the past and the future.
