BIOGRAPHY I was born in Kingston, Jamaica, and moved to the United States at fifteen. I studied at Loyola University Chicago, graduating from the School of Social Work. After graduation, I continued my study in physical therapy. I worked as a physical therapist in the Detroit and Cleveland areas and later began business as a health consultant in Chicago, Illinois.
My life experiences are varied, having traveled throughout the United States and to areas such as India, South America, Haiti, Jamaica, Africa, and Europe, studying the various cultures and their approach to health and mental issues.
As a therapist, I traveled primarily between Detroit, Chicago, and Cleveland beginning in the 1990s. I’ve enabled clients to become more health conscious through lifestyle changes, including the use of herbs, oils, and meditation.
During stress relief consultations, clients have often confided the most private portions of their lives to me. And after almost fifteen years of listening and sometimes counseling, I decided to write a fictional recount of some of the more compelling stories. |
