BIOGRAPHY
Chris Manion is a multi-published award-winning author, speaker, and audio book narrator. She is a University of Dayton honors graduate. Her newest picture book, The Grateful Boat, shares a boat's scary experience of living through a terrible storm and discovering a reason to be grateful in the end. Her WIP is an historical novel set in 15th century Italy about a strong-minded young woman who married a saint, then a scoundrel, but not allowed to marry the one she loves. Her chastity, lies, prayers, and losses bring her trouble and a miracle.

When she's not writing, Chris volunteers as a GAL (Guardian ad Litem or CASA) child advocate for foster children. Chris loves walks in the woods and FLorida coastal kayaking. She explores her creativity in photography, cooking, poetry, musical instruments, singing, and gardening. She is grateful for her children, grandchildren and beloved husband of forty-plus years.
