BIOGRAPHY I recently retired after a career teaching economics at Hillfield Strathallan College in Hamilton, Ontario.
My first book is the speculative fiction "Age-Decoded" (published March 2021). It portrays a critical, dystopian view of the rapidly evolving field of genetic engineering and the potential impact on what it will mean to be human.
My second book, "Run Daughter, Run Father" (published September 2022) is an autobiographical account of the distance running training and racing ventures of me and my daughter Stephanie, who got me onto running when she was just seven years old and I was forty-five. She is now a competitive cross country and ultra trail runner, and I transitioned to triathlons, representing Canada in three ITU World Championships.
To get to know me better, check out my Quora page. There I've written many answers to questions about genetic engineering, aging, running, finance, etc.:

My hobbies include golf, snooker, running, biking, and swimming. Hamilton is awesome for these activities, located at the juncture of the Niagara Escarpment and Lake Ontario.
