BIOGRAPHY
I love to explore history when writing fiction and nonfiction. My Martha Beale mystery novels: The Conjurer, Deception's Daughter, Without Fear, The Actress, and Sins of Commission are set in Victorian-era Philadelphia. Beneath The Wind, which is a romance, takes place on a palatial yacht traversing the world in 1903. Nonfiction: Biddle, Jackson, And A Nation In Turmoil; and Saint Katharine: The Life of Katharine Drexel.
They Believed They Were Safe - my newest novel - is a dark tale set in a small, New England college town in 1962.
