A biography, by definition, is an account of someone's life written by someone else. It involves more than just the basic facts like education, work, relationships, and death; it portrays a person's experience of these life events. This book is a compilation of scans (photocopies) of all the letters anyone ever wrote to me in my life, starting in the 60’s until present day. It also includes all the newspaper clippings, report cards, greeting cards, postcards, etc. Some are from friends, some from my grandparents, some from my aunt, but the most important ones are from my folks (parents) and the lessons they tried to teach me and get through my thick skull. Some of the authors are passed, some I was lucky enough to find and connect with on social. Some of the letters have adorable artwork, remember when we did that? Most say “write me!” Some are blurred and “melted” from time and illegible but I included them anyway. When the original Star Trek came out I used to cut the blurbs out of the TV Guide and paste them in my diary. You can call me the original Trekkie. Since there are so many during the course of my life, I will release them by decade and hope you find them interesting (enough?) to keep reading! They are all about things a lifetime ago. Besides writing we also read. And some of us could actually spell. There were no devices back then in the olden days to distract us. Enjoy and I hope you will chuckle as you read.
