Freshly graduated and about to start her dream job, things in LJ’s life should feel pretty perfect. But her first day doesn’t exactly go as expected, and the TA of one of her students keeps asking all these odd little questions.Still she’s trying hard not to focus on that. Especially when there are other things she’d rather be focusing on. Things like getting to know the guy she’s been crushing on. Okay, sure, things are going a little slower than she’d like there. But he has past traumas to work through, and she’s willing to wait.
Things take a turn for the weird as strange things begin to happen around her. Things she’s finding harder and harder to find a rational explanation for. Because there has to be a rational explanation for all this, doesn’t there?
LJ isn’t sure. She just knows there has to be answers to all this somewhere. Maybe in the pages of her father’s notebooks. Just a shame she can’t read those right now.
