BIOGRAPHY From her childhood days of reading teen-age sleuth mysteries to a distinguished career as real police officer, award-winning author Allie Marie has been surrounded by the aura of mysteries her whole life. After retirement, she realized her lifelong dream of writing her own mysteries. She veered from the path of suspense and crime novels to a different kind of sleuthing—genealogy.
Discovering colonial ancestries in her family tree, she was inspired to write the True Colors Series, a paranormal mystery series with modern local settings and colonial history that has garnered multiple awards. The series has inspired a standalone inspired by the true story of German boats interned in Portsmouth, VA before WW1 that introduces her time-traveling character in the spin-off TRUE SPIRITS Trilogy. She has short stories in several anthologies, including the best-selling Feisty Heroines Collection. She has presented writer's course at a number of venues across the US and in Europe and is a member of national and international writer's groups.
Her family is her heart, but travel and camping with her husband are a passion she enjoys when she's not writing.
