BIOGRAPHY
Thorsten Brandl grew up in Germany where he studied history and English literature. During his five-year sojourn in Japan, he nurtured a profound interest in Japanese culture, which has stayed with him ever since.

In addition to his cultural pursuits, he is a dedicated collector of Laserdiscs, video games, vinyl records, and DVDs, with a passion for heavy metal music and all things related to the 80's and 90's. He frequently imbues his writing with esoteric references to these interests, catering to like-minded individuals.

Among his favorite authors are Dean Koontz, Piers Anthony, Kinky Friedman, Terry Pratchett, and Robert Rankin. Thorsten has authored two books, "The Warrior With Broken Wings," and "The Palladium," which have been published by Cat's Eye Publishing and have won several prestigious awards, including the Feathered Quill Silver & Author's Choice Award for "The Palladium" and the BookFest Gold Award as well as the IPPY Award for "The Warrior With Broken Wings."
