Remi Chastain is the deliberately single business owner of Buzzed & Baked in downtown Savannah, Georgia. She’s spent the last two and a half years building up her business and the last six months preparing for the Battle of the Baristas. Winning the title will set her place apart from the competition in Savannah’s foodie mecca. She wants it so badly that she’s become the definition of all work and no play. But the lack of companionship and heat are getting to her.The tides seem to change when Remi and her best friend Jayne receive the hottest tickets of the year to Masquerade Madness, the invitation only ball that allows its invitees total anonymity for one night. With a highly guarded guest list, and no real names, Remi is determined to let herself go for an evening of no regrets if she can find the right partner.
When she literally bumps into tall, dark, and HOT ‘Will Shakespeare’, she’s in for an evening she won’t soon forget. What he’s hiding behind the mask is almost as interesting as the heat he causes every time they dance. Once they kiss, Remi knows one night won’t be enough to do everything she wants to with this Southern charmer. She makes a proposal he shocks her by accepting. Now they need to make it work for sixteen days until they can finish what they started. What could go wrong?
