The book, part travel memoir and part reflection of an older woman's desire to change her world, from one tumbling down into an abyss of insanity to one of hope and new opportunities.
The book explores a clash of cultures, of each wanting something from the other, hoping to give and take, but each culture not fully understanding the consequences of the journey they will travel to get what they think they can both give but ultimately, a twist in the story leads to a dantesque inferno.
