Book Overview
My first Non-Fiction is the story of my humble and humorous life as an Air Force Brat. It's a tale of a household with six children living on a Sergeants pay as we traveled from base to base. The life of a military family is challenging and rewarding. Fourteen schools attended - countless hellos and goodbyes to fleeting and life-long friendships.
Families of military personnel lead an interesting and sacrificial existence. This is the tale of my life growing up in a large family as an Air Force Brat. I would have been a brat either way, but I'm so proud of my experience growing up o n Air Force bases that I had to write about it. Do you have a shared experience or do you just want a glimpse into that life?
BIOGRAPHY I am a retired manager, trainer and technical writer. I worked for twenty plus years in the restaurant industry and then twenty years in telecom and advertising before retiring nine years ago. I now write fulltime and have since November of 2022 when my wife told me to either start writing or stop talking about it. That seemed like pretty good advice I now have thirteen books and short stories in print and I am working on a sequel to my Crossing Big Coal River series and releasing book seven of my Blake Franklin Investigations series in September 2023.
