BIOGRAPHY
I am André Gomes and I wrote my poetry books under the pen name, António Madrugada. Which is a "Persona" name to serve my poet vein. In the new novels I write with my birth given name
Antonio Madrugada's name is based on my life struggles when I was a teenager with people dear to him and whom I lost and still loves.
I'm 33 years old, born in Caldas da Rainha on September 21, 1990.
I graduated in the Tourism Professional Course TIAT (Tourism Animation and Information Technician) from the Training Center of Santarém, Portugal.
I love to write poems and short stories.
While I did Volunteer Service called EVS, I travelled around the Balkans area. This changes my life forever.
I lived 9 months in Romania as a European Volunteer.
I wrote some of my poems based on these experiences during that time.
I write for 13 years.
A complex childhood and a difficult adolescence inspired me to write some fiction stories, which I, unfortunately, left behind while growing up, and because I wanted to grow up as a writer.
Each poem can have more than two or three meanings which it sometimes is mixed with a rebel, a heroic, a historical, a nostalgic and a patriotic self.
I currently live in Sofia.
He worked for an American company as a Portuguese Speaker and Sells Representative.
In his free time, he writes poems and plays the bass guitar.
I am currently writing two fiction stories. Also, I wrote and translated to Portuguese “Life is a Paradox itself” and from Portuguese to English “Poems can move mountains”.
