BIOGRAPHY Joshua (J. E.) Dyer writes in several different genres and styles including historical fiction, mainstream fiction, horror, fantasy, and science fiction. One of his recent novels "Barons" won for best overall work in West Virginia in the Indie Author Project's annual writing competition and was short-listed in Chanticleer's Van Goethe Award for best historical fiction. He has also written for the Los Angeles Times where some of his fiction won their "Reader's Choice Award" for best story of the year. When he's not writing, Dyer likes to read, study languages, play video games, and bake.
