Not all angels start out their interaction with humans with the words "Fear Not". Some of them are sent to apply heat to mortals reluctant to take their place in God's plan. They are there to light a fire under some people to force them out of their ruts and comfort zones. They often don't look like we expect them to look. A special child, a smelly bag lady, a grim reaper (not The Grim Reaper he explains), and a demure young lady in a very bad place force an isolated soul, a self-absorbed woman, a young cancer patient, and a reluctant pastor to stop hiding away from those who need them and the tasks God has set them.These stories are sometimes funny, sometimes sad, just like real life. Hopefully, they will inspire you to always be open to God.
