Twelve-year-old Cassidy must do something to her dad’s dreary Colorado backyard. Without her mom’s garden, Spring Break is already ruined. In search of springtime, Cassidy escapes into Wonderland only to find everything, even the robin, is white. The green of spring arrives only when the queen, Mother Nature, says so. Cassidy seeks answers from her tablet that transforms into the Book of Answers, but it gives terrible directions and even worse clues about saving spring. Then, Cassidy loses the book. She tries befriending the forest animals, but Cassidy is scolded for poking her nose where she shouldn’t–especially the overgrown greenhouse. Hidden in her dad’s second backyard, it reminds Cassidy of her mom. Desperate to end winter, Cassidy embarks on parallel adventures to find the queen’s castle and the key to the greenhouse. She will bring her new Colorado family together to save Spring Break.
