I came across this story purely by chance and was sucked in by Kuni's plight and journey. When I was on the verge of tears by one of the early chapters, I knew this story was worth reading. Kuni is a small, young fisherman with a painful past, a huge heart, and a strong sense of self. The lessons he learns resonate deep in the heart. Please read it for yourself and see.
