When Simon Steed gets released from the mental hospital, he needs a job to pay his bills. And quick! The calls to summon him always come after midnight. Once Simon settles in at his childhood home again, he meets friendly neighbors, including a mysterious woman who is at first only visible at night through a sheer curtain.
