Unbreakable wings is a very powerful and engaging book for children and young adults who have experienced any type of trauma or grief. It offers a guide for healing while giving hope and encouragement, with real life examples.
I myself have a Masters Degree in Health Education, Bachelors Degree in Community Health Education with a minor in Social Work and Aging Studies from the University of West Florida, where I spent my career teaching and advising young adults. Professionally, this book could serve as a splendid additional tool for students in all different fields of study (eg; Social Work, Special Education, Counseling, Education).

Also holding an advanced certificate from the 'Crisis Prevention Institute' (CPI), Mary trained all personnel in her district on Nonviolent Crisis Intervention. She holds a Master of Science in Education, Specializing in Emotional Conflict and Behavior Disorders. She has helped many young people survive their conflicts and move past the trauma. experienced major grief and tragedy in her own adolescence, I understood much of what they were going through.
