I was raised in a small town in Southern Alabama. I started writing my first novel in high school and did not finish it until I was forty-two years old. I was afraid of failure. I am no longer afraid. I hope you enjoy my books. I will write until the day I take my last breath. Writing is what makes me happy.
I have five children. Three biological boys and adopted two beautiful daughters. I find beauty in life. I am a mother, writer, career woman and caregiver to my husband who had a stroke at age thirty-one, which was thirteen years ago.
