BIOGRAPHY In recent years I have discovered a love for reading novels. When I was younger I didn't read a lot but when I did read it was always a biography or a non-fiction History book. Now I love reading stories in all sorts of genres from historical fiction to gothic to crime. I have a particular fondness for Victorian lite... rature. I love Conan Doyle's stuff and Jules Verne. I have also really enjoyed the classic gothic novels such as Dracula and The Monk. My favourite book of all time is the Robe and my favourite author is Agatha Christie. My modern favourites are Wilbur Smith, C. J Sansom, Ken Follett and George R. R. Martin
I used to teach History in the north east of England but left to pursue a career in law enforcement. I write in my spare time. Writing novels set in the past feels like a perfect way to combine some of the things I love doing. I also love spending time with my young family and watching sport.read more
