Carlos Augusto Ramos Duarte Junior is curious and passionate about Afro-Brazilian culture and spirituality. From a young age, he was influenced and inspired by the strong and wise women who surrounded him: his mother, grandmother, aunt and sister. These women left a deep mark on his life and aroused his curiosity for the ancestral traditions of Brazil.

Graduated in Economics, Carlos Augusto always had an analytical and curious mind, seeking to understand the nuances of the world. However, along his academic and professional journey, he discovered an even greater passion: the study of Brazil's cultural and religious traditions.

Inspired by his mother, a strong and courageous woman, and by his grandmother, holder of ancestral wisdom, Carlos immersed himself in Afro-Brazilian culture, with a special focus on Candomblé. His experiences alongside his aunt, a priestess, and his sister, a dedicated researcher, strengthened his connection with spirituality and his desire to understand the mysteries of this ancient religion.

This journey of discovery and learning led him to meet priests and priestesses, participate in sacred ceremonies and study the history and mythology of Candomblé. Based on his experiences and the lessons transmitted by his family inspirations, Carlos Augusto decided to share this knowledge with the world through the book "Candomblé Demistificado: Guia para Curiosos".

With clear and engaging language, he unravels myths, breaks stereotypes and offers an authentic and respectful vision of this spiritual tradition.
