BIOGRAPHY Award-winning author, Julie Kusma, currently lives in the United States, where she pens short stories, children’s books, inspirational books, educational books, YA, and speculative fiction novels. She has a fondness for psychology and philosophy, all finding a place on the pages of the pieces she pens. Several of her paranormal and horror stories and a few poems are available in audio format on her YouTube channel.
In 2020, Julie was honored with the moniker “Queen of Horror” by contemporaries in the writing community. She released The Devil’s Scribe in 2021, a dramatized short tale of her origin as a horror writer.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness, a Master of Science in Health Education, and a Master of Art in English, Creative Writing, and Fiction. Her health sciences studies generated interest in the mind-body-spirit connection, and she writes about the impact our strengths and weaknesses have on our human experience. In particular, she has a fascination with the Jungian Shadow.
