Book Overview
Wedding bells are about to ring in Golden Glen…but who invited a killer?
Weddings are supposed to be joyful occasions, but for Maiden and her beloved Aunt Bella, things are about to take a deadly turn. As they arrive at the opulent Riley Manor for Aunt Bella's fifth (or is it sixth?) trip down the aisle, Maiden can't help but sense a chill in the air. But with her aunt's heart set on this lavish wedding, what could possibly go wrong?
As Maiden and her sister stumble through their duties as bridesmaids, they soon find themselves caught up in the drama of the groom's family. The matriarch of the Hedgewick clan is determined to keep Aunt Bella out of the family and their fortune, and tensions are high as the wedding festivities begin.
But just as the reception gets underway, tragedy strikes. And with every member of the Hedgewick family a suspect, including Aunt Bella, Maiden finds herself at the center of a dangerous investigation. As she digs deeper into the Hedgewick's dirty laundry, she uncovers a nest of secrets and betrayals that could have deadly consequences.
But with her budding relationship with a certain police captain on hold, and Aunt Bella's new in-laws causing even more chaos, Maiden is determined to solve the murder and bring justice to the Hedgewick family.

BIOGRAPHY I grew up in a small town in Michigan, USA. Writing stories is and always has been a key part of my everyday life. I started writing at a young age, crafting stories in my head. A few years later I wrote, by hand in an old notebook, my first short story. It was a murder mystery.
Drawn in by the lure of writing about the impossible, I expanded into speculative fiction but the mystery element was always woven in.
In the last several years, I've come back to mystery writing, cosy mysteries specifically. I like shifting between genres, I like the freedom and possibilities that come with that sort of open outlook. Ultimately, in any setting, I produce stories that I'm quite proud of and love to read. What started out as an escape from a life I was too young to have control over, turned into a source of happiness and personal connection that I enjoy every single day.
