A profoundly thought-provoking book. I couldn’t put this book down, even though my mind was yelling no at the pages. Ms. Logan takes hold of your feelings, in this compelling story, while you are guided by her beautiful prose on a roller-coaster of emotions. I cannot recommend this book highly enough. If I could give it more that 5 stars I would.
There is a reveal near the end of this story that took me by surprise. I highly recommend this riveting and heart-wrenching book!
Told from two perspectives the novel moves dramatically along making you wonder how it will end. I found it a riveting read and read it in a few days. The characterization is very good, and you find yourself rooting for the main protagonist. It is both sad but inspiring. If you like a book with meaning and one that keeps you gripped, then this is for you. I enjoyed it very much.
I adored this story. It gripped me from beginning to end and kept me on the edge of my seat. I wasn't sure where it was going, and it was nothing like I expected. It was amazing! Yet still, the twists and turns in the book caught me off-guard. When the story ended, I was breathless and in complete awe of Ivy Logan's talent.
Heart pounding at times, tear producing at others, Ms. Logan brings a soul touching story that will cause the reader to stay up late into the night, flipping pages to discover the unbelievable twist in the end. Easy 5 stars, I wish I could give it 10/10...
