I write multiple genres but one of my major ones is Horror Romance. The way I like to describe this is that the World is full of horror, gore, violence, but the romance between the main characters isn't.
I read every single review on every outlet. Every review, whether good or bad, holds valuable information for me. If there's a bad one, I read the whole thing and take away from it what I can. Good ones always make my day brighter.
Practice, practice, practice! The more you write, the better you'll get. And never be afraid of valuable critiques. It took me a few years to understand that :)
