Several things. The trauma of losing a loved one, the struggles of being bullied as a child and growing up in a single parent household. All of life is an inspiration. We simply need to choose what to focus on.
A good cover and title is the thing that draws a random reader to your book. As long as you take that into consideration and try to make it easier, readers will often find you and your stories will find a new home to live.
Read new books, watch shows that are engaging and see movies that draw you in. If any of the above are similar to what you write, all the better. Spark new ideas and fuel your creativity.
I realized it was possible. Before the first book was done, the notion of completing a book was just a concept. After, it was a reality I embraced and needed to make my own.
I've been writing since I knew how to read. I used to scribble on napkins at restaurants, scratch paper at home and magazine corners with ideas I've had over the years. It has been in my blood for as long as I could remember.
Don't let yourself think negatively on your work. Stay positive, keep writing and finish everything you start. The worst story can be made better with editing. Blank pages can't be edited.
I am always grateful to have anyone recognize me. I make it as difficult as possible by revealing only a silhouette of myself or my image in logo form. Being recognized is an honor and I am hopeful it is a positive experience for those I meet.
