That is a tough question. However, number one for me would be the comedian Billy Connally. I could listen to that guy's stories forever. Secondly, I would have Andrew Lincon. As a Walking Dead fan, I would be interested in the conversation, especially knowing he I British like myself. It is good to see such success for British actors in film and TV lately. Lastly, I would invite Jamie Olive... Well, someone would need to cook :)
Ugh, is it possible to not have one? I don't! I start with an idea that's been hanging around and generally start typing. Allowing the characters to lead the story.
I only started writing last year after the death of my grandad inspired me. It sounds odd but looking back at his very successful life made me want to do more. I found writing or writing found me and here I am. About to release my second book. In a short time, I have been told that my writing has improved dramatically.
Absolutely not. In fact, in school, I remember being laughed at by the class and the teacher for writing a poor story in my English class. It's fair to say I have blossomed later on in life at the old age of 36! :)
I love a good cover and the tile of my book changed. For the better! Not many people know this but the book series Deep started of as Highway 5 and the forest of drwg. Drwg is evil in Welsh.
At the moment only once. That was writing the last scene of the second book. It was so much more important. I didnt have a block per say but I was undecided on how to let it unfold.
Yes, I do. I check for them daily. I have had some fantastic ones. So far no bad ones. I know I will take them to heart regardless of all the good ones. Early on I didnt beleive my friend's reviews but since I've had some amazing ones from strangers that really helped me beleive in myself.
My book series is entirely focused on my MC who is the opposite sex. I was asked this question a few times by readers and to be honest, I don't really know why I did that. I did, however, grow up with my two sisters and my mother so perhaps there's a clue as to why.
I am always more impressed with a story when it has something different. Like an idea that sometimes is simple yet exciting and adventurous. Take shutter island for example. Such a great idea.
