When I was younger I never thought I could become a writer. It was something that never crossed my mind as a career path for me. Now as I’m older and I the weeks go by I could see this becoming a possible career for me. Would it be a full-time career or professional? I’m not sure, but I do know I want to continue to write books and publish them for as long as I can.
I would probably choose mystery because I find mystery writer so intriguing and very smart. To have someone keep guessing and waiting to the end of the book to know what happens, is at so cool. I think if you possess gift and can craft to make amazing reads, you’re one heck of a writer.
I would have to say pacing and procrastination. I have tons of books I could be writing but I’d rather be watching cartoons and re-runs of looney tunes. Then when I do start writing I’m scared that maybe I’m rushing to finish the book, the ending, or the pacing of the book is not executed very well.
Making people fall in love with your characters. Sometimes plots can be very messy but if you have great characters that’s what will keep readers coming back for more.
