I think it's extremely important to have an attention grabbing cover and title. Both should draw the reader in, and make them want to know more in my opinion.
Constantly worrying if they're portrayed accurately. I know men from a woman's perspective, but I want to make sure that I accurately capture the male experience from a male perspective.
Try to find the time that works for you. I had it in my mind that I would wake up every morning and write, and I felt like I was failing when I couldn't do that. Then I discovered that I write better at night. I can focus and the ideas just flow. Now that I know that I'm able to accomplish more.
