My passion for women's ministry is what initially inspired me to start writing in general. As for what inspired the specific topics I write about, I have a strong desire for people to know the truth. John 8:32 says that when we know the truth, the truth will set us free, and I want people to know and have that freedom. My writing journey started 4 years ago, and I look forward to many more to come.
Definitely not! Math was my first love. I did flash cards and played math-based games for fun as a kid. I always did pretty well on writing assignments and writing tests growing up, but I never saw myself as a writer for a career because of a hatred for books that began at a very young age. Unlike writing assignments, I always did poorly on reading assignments. I learned how to read before entering Kindergarten, but I hated the constant failure that books seemed to bring into my life. Thankfully, God has broken down some of those barriers for me. I don't see books as my enemy anymore, and I do see writing as a career now.
