When you experience writer’s block, put your work down, drink a warm cup of tea or coffee, and watch a suspenseful or thriller movie. Usually, the plot will stimulate your brain to think and continue on with your own plot.
Frankly, it isn’t too difficult. Just put yourself in the other person’s shoes and try to see it from their perspective. Our knowledge about the opposite sex is adequate enough to help us thrive on writing the character of the opposite sex. Both sexes experience the same emotions but to different extents. We just need to find that justifiable balance.
It is not very difficult. Put yourself in the other person’s shoes and you will be surprised to see how much you can experience. Our experiential knowledge of the opposite sex renders our information believable and we can translate this believability into our characters.
