Lane because Lane is the main character in the book. Mercy in America is the first Volume in the series. Mercy in Oklahoma City is the second in the series. I love the character I created and imagined my life back then during the turbulent times of slavery. Lane encounters slavery during his quest for the search for his missing father set in Ancient times. This book is geared at Christians and Lane uses the power of prayer and the Lord's guidance in his search for his missing father. Lane teaches not only the power of prayer, but, also what it means to show others Mercy. Lane is the son I never had. I don't have any kids of my own. I wrote this book as if Lane was my son.
