Piracy, it's disgusting profiting from the hard work someone else has put into their storytelling. A close second would be plagiarism, which is as bad, sometimes more so.
I used to beta/proofread for a friend... she would listen to my storyline ideas and had me write a novella for fun. Little did I know, she sent it to her publisher who in turn wrote me a letter of encouragement, telling me I shouldn't be wasting my time proofing and I should be writing. So, that's where it all began.
