I have actually, several times! Stuff that has happened to me and some of my close friends. It's altered enough that I doubt anyone would recognize though!
I read all my reviews and check them daily. I find it important to acknowledge what others think I'm doing wrong and right. The bad ones still know how to crush your heart though.
When I wrote my first book I just needed to write it. Get it out there and realize I could do it. Now I try to think farther ahead, planting easter eggs and outlining more.
