I write in a large variety of genres. I let my mood dictate what I write in. I have also found that changing genres can help me get past writer's block. I have several books in various stages at all times.
Many of my books incorporate things that have happened to me. Obviously my true stories have drawn on parts of my life. I also use experience I have had, places I have been and people I have met for inspiration. I could remember a man's hair and describe it later in a book, or a vacation locale I visited that could become a backdrop of a story.
