    • Hello Michele,
Thank you so much the follow. I enjoyed reading about you as well as visiting your website. What a fascinating career! Curious, how did this book review work-out for you and this (Robert Paul)? As a newly published author, perhaps you and I could exchange reviews? Talk soon. Stay happy and healthy now. Cheers.

      • Hi Vic, I am happy to exchange reviews. I understand how hard it is to break into the publishing world and connect with readers. I am still working on Paul's book but hopefully will be finished in a couple of weeks. I would be happy to review your book if you would like to review mine. Would you like to exchange e-books or buy each other's books in Amazon? Either works for me. I will get to your review as soon as I can, but I am currently writing and have another book to read after Roberts. Take care! Michele

        • Thanks Michele! No problem, we can work out the details later as I will be out of town next week for about 2 weeks. I will definitely touch-base with you when I return. Thinking a verified purchase review from Amazon would be ideal for the two of us? Let me know whenever you've time. Warm regards. Talk soon.

                • Thanks, Robert! My publisher handles the formatting, so I don't have much say on that, but I will pass along your feedback. I am half way through your book and will post my review soon. Apologies it is taking so long - I had to review three other books before yours and my second book came our two weeks ago so it' been a bit hectic. I'll let you know when I've posted it on Amazon and Goodreads! Take care.

      • When I get stressed about my writing, I first remind myself that: I AM AN AUTHOR! I’ve already achieved one of my biggest dreams – writing a book. It helps remind me that writing is actually something I love to do, which reduces my stress. Taking a break from writing if possible, exercising and talking with fellow writers about their writing process and stress all help me put things into perspective and help me hit the reset button. And chocolate always helps, too.

      • I’ve always loved reading and I’ve tried many times over the years to write. But when our son was born, I was looking for something I could do while he was napping and a friend suggested I start writing. It gave me a chance to use my imagination which I realized I hadn’t done in a really long time. It was fun to have something of my own to work on whenever I could steal a few minutes of quiet.

      • Over the years, I think I’ve become better with creating an individual voice for my characters. I work hard to make each character sound differently when they speak and think. When I was just starting out, I don’t think I really gave much thought to the individual words different characters used, the rhythm of their speaking patterns, how words reflect their voice and who they are as well as what they are trying to say. I was just trying to get the story down. Now I realize there’s so much more to writing than just the plot points. The best stories have may layers and so should the characters.

      • If I had to live my life over again, I’d believe in myself more. When I was younger I doubted myself so much and I think I could have experienced more and enjoyed things more if I had more confidence in myself. I think I would have started writing much younger if I had been more self-assured.
