I have ADHD. It is called executive dysfunction. I can't just sit down and write a complete rough draft without knowing in my head each exact step that it will take to get from point A to point Z. I might have a rough idea of things I want to write in a story, but until I figure out how to get there, I'm stuck, and my executive dysfunction won't let me continue until I figured it out.
