Absolutely nothing! HA! I kind of jumped into the self-publishing world without looking. I'm extremely glad I did it, but I think knowing how much work I had ahead of me would have made me start to doubt myself. Doubt and fear can be debilitating to anyone in the arts/creative industry. Learning to overcome self-doubt is a journey!
