I'm Judith Hermann, I love connecting with fellow writers it’s always fascinating to hear how others found their way into storytelling. How did your writing journey begin?
Hi, as strange as it may sound, the invention of Microsoft Word. Yeah, I am the worst speller and my grammar leaves a lot to be desired. I have always had the desire to write, but lacked the tools.
That doesn’t sound strange at all, I completely understand. The right tools can unlock what’s already inside us. I’m glad you found your way to writing.
For me, writing started as a quiet kind of necessity, like something I couldn’t not do. It began with short stories, trying to observe the world in silence.
Did you always feel confident calling yourself a writer? Or was that a title that came later?
That’s completely fair, and very honest. Not every writer chooses to share their contact info, and I respect that. Your work speaks for itself, with or without direct outreach. For a long time, I felt like an observer more than a participan writing helped me find a voice without needing to raise it.
What kind of stories do you find yourself writing most? Is there a genre or theme you naturally gravitate toward?
Hello Mr. Cline,
I just wanted to say thank you for following me, that was a very kind gesture and I do appreciate it! I wish you all the best of success as an author. Stay healthy now and God bless.
