I'm a full-time author and tend to write right after waking up. That's when my mind is the most relaxed and fresh so the words flow easier. As of 01 Jan 2022, I've adopted the Terry Prachett method and set myself a goal of writing at least 200 words per day.
Writer's block is an all the time type of thing. Any time there is stress in my life, the words stop. Once I solve that stress, the block goes away. Sometimes the block is because the story isn't right (according to the characters). Fixing the story to their satisfaction clears the block.
Write what you want to read. If you're writing something you don't like or just following a trend that doesn't really interest you, then it becomes a slog and you struggle to get through it. If you're enthusiastic about your story, then that shows in your writing.
